The Centre is run by Boyd and Lois Harris who come from families with long standing equestrian links, involving showjumping, film and stunt work. Their love of horses can be seen all around in the quality of bloodstock and the substantial investment in equiptment and facilities.Our qualified team of instructors enjoy teaching at all levels of ability. Within the school's range of excellent horses and ponies there's something to suit everyone from beginners to advanced riders.

Summer riding school on secured 128 acre farm nr Maidstone. Opportunity to own Pony/horse for a week. Learn or improve your riding. Learn about stable management. Enter Competitions, earn certificates and have fun and games with other children aged 8 years to 16 years. Horses are all safe and suit novice to experianced riders. Qualified staff, all amenities. £15 per day or £60 per week (discount for siblings). Places limited. Runs throughout August 10am to 6pm. Free trial morning if required. We also loan on half or full livery quality Horses and ponies, have to be kept on our yard. Riding lessons on one to one basis in any aspect of riding.

PRIVATE HORSE RIDING LESSONS at a friendly yard with friendly ponies , ideal for beginners just learning and wanting to get more attention and help after starting at riding schools. we are situated in chesterfield. we have a 20 by 40 woodchip arena with jumps and dressage letters . there are two instructors , both with experience and knowledge . our horses are slow and steady for beginners also we have some that are fast and flighty . we are very close to the five pits trail and sometimes go on hour hacks or day hacks . we go to shows regularly with the horses and have great times . we charge 10 pound for half an hour or 20 pounds for an hours private lesson or 15 for an hour hack round the five pits at all different paces . if you are interested in learning new skills give us a call . on 01246 250754 ask for either Julie or Jessica thanks

Book early for an exciting opportunity learning to handle Dartmoor ponies with the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre and Sarah Weston,
of Intelligent Horsemanship.
The workshop, from 25-29 October in Widecombe, Devon, (cost £250), will use feral ponies, though learning applies to all equines. Limited daily spectator entry is £20.
Participants will learn to:
· build trust with the pony
· first approach/body language
· accepting a head collar/how to lead
· pick up a pony's feet
· finish with a calm, confident, loving pony
Great care is taken to ensure the foals are trained without fear or force. The emphasis is on a trusting partnership.
